Leigh was born in Charlotte, NC, but was raised in Virginia Beach and Miami Beach.
When she was 14 she started to model and at 15 she made her film debut in the movie Kickboxing. In the movie, her brother played her love interest so in the spirit of Angelina Jolie she kissed her own brother for several scenes. After hosting a syndicated teen show and making several guest appearances on shows like 7th Heaven, Chyler got her big break in Not Another Teen Movie. She played Janey, the nerd-turned-hottie in the teen movie parody.
